About Julie

Julie lives on the Fylde coast of Lancashire. She is the author of ‘Ready to Paint Cats and Kittens in Acrylic’

A popular tutor of leisure classes, Julie gives private tuition, demonstrations and workshops on a variety of subjects and media.

She is a professional associate of the Society of All Artists and a member of the Association of Animal Artists.

Over the years Julie’s sustained interest and study of the natural environment has intuitively honed her observation of the world around her. This aided her in developing and improving her artistic skills in this genre, eventually leading her to a professional career in art, as an illustrator, exhibiting artist and art tutor.

With over 40 years of art experience behind her, Julie is still consumed by art. Still exhibiting and in demand for commissioned portraits, she now dedicates a lot of her time to sharing this joy of painting,  running weekly art classes amd weekend workshops.
